The 5.7L HEMI produces approximately 360–395 horsepower and 390–410 lb-ft of torque, depending on model year and factory configuration. Peak horsepower is generally achieved around 5,150–5,600 RPM, with peak torque around 3,950–4,400 RPM. The ZF 8HP70 is rated for up to 516 lb-ft of engine torque (700 Nm), providing eight forward gears, quick shifting and overdrive for highway cruising.

The complete package includes the engine, transmission, engine wiring harness, transmission wiring, programmed ECU/PCM, accelerator gas pedal, electronic throttle controls and electronic drive shifter. Having matched electronics is essential for proper engine starting, throttle response, transmission shifting and communication between control modules.

Fuel efficiency: Depending on vehicle weight, gearing and tuning, fuel economy varies. The original Ram application achieved approximately 15–18 MPG city and 21–26 MPG highway, depending on configuration.
